Four bedroom home not best buy in Tampa, Florida?
I found the chart below interesting. It suggests four bedroom home Sale prices are trending up while three bedroom and indeed (all) home prices are still trending downward towards 2000 pricing. This is great news for home buyers but is it good news for owners of four bedroom homes? If supply and demand drive pricing, could it mean a shortage of four bedrooms homes, that families are getting larger or that multi-generational households are becoming popular? Could it mean people are wanting a home office and going for four bedrooms because the prices, in general, are down. Before we get too carried away, the prices have seemed to meander up and down and this could be a short-lived gain. It does bear watching, though.
